Hand Washing
As hot water can damage fabrics such as lace, embroidery and elastic, we recommend that you hand-wash your bras and briefs in cool water. Doing so will help keep your undergarments in tiptop condition.
Lingerie Bags
If you choose to wash your undergarments in the washing machine, remember to use a lingerie bag and to set a gentle wash cycle. Washing machines can often misshape underwires so using a lingerie bag will help keep your bras in shape. Such bags will also prevent underwires from damaging your machine, in the event that they come out of your bra. This also applies to Camisole Tops with in-built underwires.
Drip Drying
You should ideally drip-dry your lingerie flat in the shade. If you do hang your bras, hang them in half, not from the shoulder strap or the back strap. You should also avoid using pegs as they can damage delicate fabrics.
Tumble Drying
We do not recommend using a tumble dryer for your lingerie. If you must, set it to the coolest cycle.
